Violet & Camryn
Sep. 12, 2020
Today, Violet was placed in her FURever home with Camryn Urban in Vallejo, California.
Camryn is a veterinary emergency and oncology technician who has struggled with depression and anxiety since a young age, both of which have been helped in the past by the presence of an animal in conjunction with therapy and medication. She was also recently diagnosed with PTSD as a result of domestic violence. Violet has come into Camryn’s life to offer not only the happiness and joyful disposition she was born with, but to provide comfort and specific distraction during flashbacks, panic attacks, and depressive episodes.
We are proud to have partnered Camryn & Violet today, the compassionate care that she will provide is going to help. She will be able to offer comfort when needed by providing deep pressure therapy (aka hugs) and will be . She will bond with Camryn and learn his non-verbal signals over time. The bond they share will last a lifetime and will enable Camryn to enjoy life to the fullest with her new best friend.
Congratulations Camryn and we are so proud of Violet!!!
